This 14" instrument is fitted with a natural rawhide head and chrome plated rims, making it ideal for recreating the deep, resonant sounds associated with plena music. It features 5 16" J hook tension rods for precise tuning and is part of a folkloric set, which includes the Requinto and Punteador models.
