Antique Swedish Sugar Cutting Box with Internal CutterThis is a rare antique Swedish sugar cutting box dating to the late 19th century. The box is made of pine and features a lift up lid which opens to reveal an internal metal cutter set over a pierced base. To the bottom of the box is a shallow drawer, designed to catch the sugar which has been cut from a sugar loaf in the compartment above. The metal blade is stamped with L. G. Wibell, Eskilstuna. The material and fitting is very good. I would recommend to size down if you want a perfect fitting suit or if you don't have time to alter. I purchased a 4T and 5T for a 5 year old with longer torso compared to legs. The 4T ended up as a perfect fit with no room to grow whereas for the 5T the pants ran a little long but other pieces were perfect.
