I have 2 cattle dogs. One blue heeler and one blue heeler/aussie mix that is blind and completely ball crazy. We have gone through a hundred balls over the years and this is by far the best. It can be kicked (with think boots not running shoes), thrown, or rolled by the dog if you have one of those types. One of my dogs is a chewer and he hasn't put a dent in it, in months. The ball bounces when kicked/thrown and makes that odd noise when its hit just right so its extra entertaining for the dogs but also let's our blind dog know where its at. To the point I had to stop giving it to my dog because he squeaked it so much I felt it was disturbing the neighbors. So overall, wouldn’t recommend unless you have a lot of land, plan on using it indoors, and don’t have a super chewer dog.
